LAMAR, S.C. -- The funeral for Anthony "Handy Andy" L. Mooring, 49, a former resident of Snow Hill, will be held Tuesday at 4 p.m. at Belk Funeral Home's Lamar chapel. Burial will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Snow Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Mooring died Saturday.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Hechel Mooring of Lamar; a son, Robbie Mooring of Darlington, S.C.; a daughter, Tracie McCoy of Columbia, S.C.; three brothers, Billy Mooring, C.B. Mooring and Johnny Mooring of Snow Hill; three sisters, Faye M. Strickland of Snow Hill, Kathy M. Price of Deep Run, and Anne M. Davis of Dudley; and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends today from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
