HILDA COLEY

Hilda Cox Coley, 77, of 1004 N. James St. died Thursday at her home.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at White Oak Grove Church in Pikeville. The Rev. George Wiggins will officiate. Burial will follow in Wayne Memorial Park.

She is survived by her husband, Henry Lee Coley of the home; two sons, Henry Coley Jr. of Haggerstown, Md., and Luby Coley of Goldsboro; four daughters, Vivian Whitaker and Sellestine Foster, both of Goldsboro, Doretha Coley of Capitol Heights, Md., and Hester Freeman of Aberdeen, Md.; four brothers, Rommie Cox of Newark, N.J., Marshall Cox Jr. of Eureka, Norwood Cox and Nazareen Cox, both of Goldsboro; three sisters, Elizabeth Coor of Goldsboro, Clara Reid of Black Creek and Eartha Wooten of Dudley; and 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.

A viewing will be held Sunday from 3 until 9 p.m. at Hamilton Funeral Chapel where the family will receive friends at 7 p.m., and other times the family will receive at 1214 Franklin St.
