SARASOTA, Fla. -- Lindsey Dail Westbrook, 86, formerly of Mount Olive, died Friday.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Tyndall Funeral Home with the Rev. Stephen Wicks officiating. Burial will be in Willowdale Cemetery.
She was the daughter of the late L. Bryant and Sadie M. Dail and the widow of the late Col. Robert Lane Westbrook.
She was a graduate of Mount Olive High School and North Carolina Beautician College.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, James Perry Dail, Jordan Dail and Woodard Dail, and three sisters, Annie Dail Bundy, Helen Dail and Lavinia Dail Daly.
She is survived by a sister, Eunice Dail Woods of Mount Olive; a brother-in-law, William A. Westbrook of Dawsonville, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Leonteen W. Hockett of Wilmington; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of SW Florida, 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Fla., 34238, or to a favorite charity.
