SALLIE WHITAKER
Sallie Whitaker, daughter of the late Lafayette and Sallie Reid, died this week in Boston, Mass.
She was a 1953 graduate of Dillard High School.
Her survivors include four sisters, Theresa (AMaziah) Howell, Dollie R. Greenfield, Annie R. Smith and Jackie (Wayne) Grant of Godlsboro; two brothers, John Solomon (Rosa) Reid of Fremont and Larry Thomas Reid of Washington, D.C.; one sister-in-law, Beulah (Junius) Shealy of Goldsboro; and her mother-in-law, Mrs. Evelyn Whitaker of Goldsboro.
The funeral will be held in Massachusetts on Monday.
