BRADLEY MINSHEW

WARSAW -- A memorial service for Bradley B. Minshew will be held Saturday at 3 p.m. at Warsaw United Methodist Church. The Rev. Kelly Lyn Logue and the Rev. Ira Smith will officiate.

Mr. Minshew was the son of Mattie S. Minshew and the late Belton D. Minshew. He graduated from Methodist College in 1967 and was named its "Economic and Business Alumnus of the Year" for 2000. He worked as a computer salesman and account executive and stockbroker for a securities firm in Raleigh before becoming owner of Pelican Properties Real Estate in North Topsail Beach. He served on the North Topsail Town Board and was one of the developers of North Shore Country Club and Ashe Island in North Topsail Beach.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Nell J. Minshew; daughters, Mary Elizabeth Minshew Ratliff and Teresa LeMar DeMarco; two brothers, Arthur and Kenneth Minshew; and two grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Warsaw United Methodist Church, the Methodist College, or the American Cancer Society.

Andrews Mortuary in Wilmington is serving the family.
