FREMONT -- Dempsey "Tee" Taylor, 67, of 815 Martin St., died Monday at Wilson Medical Center in Wilson.

The funeral will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Greater Morning Star Church. Elder Henry Cox will officiate. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.

Mr. Taylor was the son of the late James and Trumilla Taylor. He returned to Fremont after retiring from Allied Building Products in New Jersey with 30 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Alice M. Taylor of the home; one son, Kenneth E. Lewis of Durham; three daughters, Wyvonia Mills of Wilmington, Del., Latricia Crawford of Newark, N.J., and Arlendia Lewis of Fremont; seven grandchildren; 10 sisters, Lillie Mae Taylor and Roberta Artis of Fremont, Coramie Hodges and Nettie Woodard of Wilson, Grace Mae Barnes, Dorothy Daughtridge, Shirley Barnes, Peggy Nunn and Geraldine Austin of Newark, N.J., and Mary Taylor of Valisburg, N.J.

The viewing hours will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Friday at Rhodes Funeral Home in Fremont.
