KENLY -- The funeral for Effie Raper Boykin, 94, of Middlesex, will be held Wednesday in the chapel of Coley funeral Home. The Rev. Donnie Massey will officiate. Burial will be in Raper Family Cemetery.
Mrs. Boykin died Sunday.
She is survived by one daughter, Gladie Batten of Kenly; one son, J.B. Boykin of Wilson; one sister, Dazelle Cooper of Kenly; and six grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends tonight from 7 until 9 at Coley Funeral Home.
