CAROLYN BRANTLEY

LUCAMA -- Carolyn M. Brantley, 52, died Monday at her residence.

The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel of Thomas Yelverton Funerals and Cremations in Wilson. The Rev. Charlie Bryant will officiate. Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Newcomb Family Cemetery in Seven Springs.

Mrs. Brantley was born in Wilson County and was the daughter of the late Lewis Albert and Dildy Mae Littleton Mitchell.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy J. Brantley of the home; two daughters, Rhonda Rose Tant of Fremont and Lisa Dawn Johnson of Clayton; two sons, Freeman Jacky Sullivan of the home and James Edward Brantley of Black Creek; sisters, Rose Glover of the home, Gladys Jones of Seven Springs, Katie Rose of Zebulon and Betty Lou Underhill of Angier; brothers, Tony Mitchell of Lucama and Royce Mitchell of Selma; grandchildren Heather Nicole Fulghum, Wesley James Brantley, Destiny Rose Tant and Lyle Courtney Johnson Jr.

The family will receive friends tonight form 7 until 9 at the residence.

Flowers will be accepted at the funeral home, or memorial donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 9, Wilson, N.C., 27894.
