WCPS to operate on three-hour delay Tuesday

Wayne County Public Schools will operate on a three-hour delay Tuesday. Classes and activities were cancelled Thursday and Friday last week, for all of the weekend and on Monday, due to ice and snow still being on the ground.
In a statement released Monday afternoon, school officials said that while temperatures warmed up late Monday, ice remains on some area roads ---- specifically in neighborhoods and subdivisions ---- and in some school parking lots.
