Local, state offices to close

Local, state and federal offices will closed Friday, Nov. 10, in observance of the Veterans Day on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Post offices and banks will be closed Saturday, Nov. 11.
All branches of the Wayne County Public Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10, and will open again for regular hours on Saturday, Nov. 11.
Wayne County Public Schools and Wayne Community College will be closed Friday, Nov. 10.
Wayne County offices and the landfill will be closed Friday, Nov. 10.
The Peggy M. Seegars Senior Center will be closed Friday, Nov. 10, and Saturday, Nov. 11.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority will operate on a Saturday schedule on Friday, Nov. 10, when the bus service will operate from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The city of Goldsboro will also observe Veterans Day as a city holiday on Friday, Nov. 10.
Trash and recycle services originally planned on Friday will be handled on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
Fremont Town Hall will be closed.
Pikeville and Eureka town halls will be open.
Mount Olive town offices will be closed on Monday, Nov. 13.
Household garbage pickup will not be affected. Yard waste pickup will be Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
The town's recyclable center will also be closed Moday, Nov. 13. It will reopen on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at 8 a.m.
