A 17-year-old Goldsboro youth told police he was jumped by at least 10 older males in the parking lot of a gas station at 2101 Wayne Memorial Drive.

Police were called to the scene around 2:30 a.m. Saturday morning where they found approximately 150 people in the parking lot while several fights were going on.

The teenager told police he had been dancing earlier at Morgan's nightclub with a girl who is the girlfriend of one of the suspects.

That is what is believed to have caused the fight, police said.

The youth, who suffered minor injuries, was taken to Wayne UNC Health Care.

The victim told police he did not know any of the suspects who were in their early 20s.

The investigation into the fight is ongoing and no charges had been made as of press time Saturday afternoon.
