Three houses in the 400 block of Murray Street were sprayed with gunfire Saturday morning.

Nobody was injured, but all three homes sustained damage because of the gun shots.

One person reported their home was hit by bullets overnight at about 3:15 a.m.,  and police found several holes in the front of the home.

Then two other people discovered their homes had been hit also, with various parts of their houses being damaged by the gunfire.

One neighbor's air conditioning unit stopped working when a fragment hit the unit outside the home, and another's car was hit, busting out the back windshield. The gunfire also damaged the siding of their home.

There are no suspects at this time.

In addition to the houses being hit by gunfire, there were two more reports of shots fired in the city over the weekend.

ShotSpotter alerted police to shots being fired in the 500 block of West Grantham Street around the same time the homes on Murray Street were hit Saturday.

Officers were unable to find anyone involved in the shooting or recover any evidence.

On Saturday night around 10:45 p.m., ShotSpotter alerted police to shots being fired in the 100 block of West Pine Street.

Officers could not find any evidence of a shooting after walking the area.

ShotSpotter is the city's automatic gunshot detection system, and was installed around the city in July 2016.
