Two men are facing charges after being connected to a four-wheeler theft earlier this week, according to a press release.
Christopher Jerrell Currie, 26, of 512 S. Raiford St., Selma, and Nathan Colby McKinney, 19, of 1766 Old Kenly Road, Pikeville, are both charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen goods.
The four-wheeler was reported stolen Tuesday, the release said, and detectives were able to find the four-wheeler with the help of several people on Wednesday.
Sheriff Larry Pierce, Capt. Richard Lewis and several detectives found the four-wheeler and questioned several people in the area about the theft.
Through talking to those people, authorities then arrested Currie and McKinney.
They were both put in the Wayne County Jail.
Currie was given a $20,000 unsecured bond for the charges and a $5,000 secured bond for a felony conspiracy offense out of Johnston County.
McKinney was a $2,500 secured bond for the theft charges.
