Woman charged with stealing $100 in clothing

A Dudley woman allegedly stole more than $100 worth of clothing from Walmart on Spence Avenue Monday, but was detained and cited for the incident immediately after leaving the store.
According to a police report filed on the incident, Michelle Diana West, 34, of 1009 Emmaus Church Road, Dudley, entered Walmart Monday and concealed $103.10 worth of clothing in a bag.
West then reportedly left the store without paying, which is when she was detained by an employee.
Officers responded to the scene and gave West a citation for the alleged theft, and she was released.
