A wreck at the intersection of N.C. 581 and U.S. 70 in Rosewood around 12:30 p.m. Thursday temporarily blocked west bound traffic in one lane on U.S. 70 for roughly half an hour.

No one was injured.

According to state Highway Patrol Trooper J.S. Smith, a blue Chevrolet Monte Carlo was turning left onto U.S. 70 East from N.C. 581 when a silver Cadillac headed west on U.S. 70 collided with the vehicle.

Smith said he could not immediately determine at the scene of the wreck who was at fault, as both drivers were claiming to have had a green light at the time of the wreck and there were no witnesses.

But the driver of the Chevrolet, Heliodora Flores, of 119 High Meadow Drive, was cited for no operators license since her license was expired.
