Man shot on Elm Street

A Goldsboro man is in Vidant Medical Center in Greenville after being shot multiple times in front of Donel's Convenience Store Sunday morning at 12:15 a.m.
Versean Jenkins, 21, of 425 Hollowell St., was standing in front of the convenience store located at 518 E. Elm St. when he was shot.
Jenkins was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment, but was then transferred to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville due to the severity of his injuries.
No one has been charged in connection with the shooting.
The unknown suspect is wanted for felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill or seriously injure.
Maj. Anthony Carmon with the Goldsboro Police Department said there is currently no word on Jenkins' condition.
