Four young ladies will compete for the title of Miss Goldsboro High School 2015 on Saturday at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium.

Special guests will include Miss Goldsboro High School 2014, Waverlea Brown, Miss Wayne School of Engineering, 2014, Cymberlin Sasser, and Jordan Everett, Miss Eastern Wayne 2015. The master of ceremonies for the evening is Adam Clark, English instructor at Goldsboro High.

This year, scholarship money will be awarded to the winners.

Na'tiana Barnes, 16, will perform a praise dance to "Conqueror" by Estelle. The daughter of Nathan and Burnetta Barnes, she hopes to have a career in the medical field as a heart specialist.

Jordan Deans, 16, will sing "Set Fire to the Rain" made popular by Adele. Jordan is the daughter of William and Zandra Deans; she plans to attend college and later join the National Guard.

Naquana Sessoms, 16, will recite a poem entitled "Absentia" written by Vernon J. Davis Jr. She plans to attend Georgetown University to pursue a degree in legal studies and philosophy. She is the daughter of Lanee Sessoms.

Torey Snead, 16, will sing "Try" made popular by Colbie Caillat. Her parents are Jeffrey Snead and Alexandria Perry Murphy. Future plans include attending East Carolina University to pursue a career as a personal trainer.
