The Wayne County Sheriff's Office is asking for help locating a woman missing since May 9.
A Silver Alert was issued Wednesday for Darlene Wilson, 50, 200 C North Hereford Drive, who was last seen walking in the 2300 block of Stevens Mill Road May 9 at about 1 p.m.
Ms. Wilson is said to have been last seen wearing a multi-colored print outfit with a pair of shoes tied around her neck.
She is described as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing about 220 pounds.
She does require medication, which she is likely doing without since she left home without any personal items.
Ms. Wilson is known to frequent the Mar Mac area visiting the fast food restaurants.
It is unknown whether Ms. Wilson continued walking toward Johnston County or if she would have turned around and walked back toward Goldsboro. She might have taken a side road toward the Grantham area or Old Smithfield Road.
