Woman reports a threat by rock

A Goldsboro woman found herself on the receiving end of a gang threat Sunday when someone handed her a rock with gang symbols and the letters "R.I.P." written on both sides.
The word "Crip" also appeared on the rock.
Tiffany Nicole Sutton, 22, 127 Vanderbilt Circle, reported the threat Monday to the Goldsboro Police Department.
According to the police report. a friend leaving Ms. Sutton's residence at about 6 p.m. Sunday was approached by a 6-foot tall black man who handed him the rock with instructions to deliver it to Ms. Sutton.
No further description of the suspect was given. The rock was taken into evidence and the investigation is listed on the report as inactive.
