Municipalities also closing for Christmas

Federal offices will be closed Wednesday for the Christmas holiday, as well as on New Year's Day, Jan. 1. Post offices also will be closed those days.
State offices will be closed from Tuesday through Thursday and on New Year's Day.
City of Goldsboro offices will be closed Tuesday through Thursday, as well as New Year's Day, though sanitation services in the city will continue as scheduled during the holiday.
In Walnut Creek, trash will be picked up Tuesday, and recycling will be collected Friday. During New Year's week, trash will be picked up Tuesday and recycling will be collected Thursday.
The town of Mount Olive offices will be closed Tuesday through Thursday and Jan. 1. Yard waste pick-up will be moved from Monday to Tuesday and from Thursday to Friday during the Christmas week, and container trash will be picked up for Thursday on Friday and for Friday on Saturday.
Fremont Town Hall will be closed Dec. Wednesday through Friday and on Jan. 1. Trash pick-up will not be affected by the change, but recyclable pick-up will be pushed back to Jan. 2.
Pikeville Town Hall will be closed Tuesday through Thursday. Trash pick-up will be pushed back to Friday.
In Seven Springs, the town office will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
Eureka Town Hall and post office will close at 10 a.m Christmas Eve and open again on Thursday, then on Dec. 31, it will close again at 10 a.m. and re-open on Jan. 2.
Wooten Garbage Service will pick up normally on Monday, but will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
Tuesday's route will be done Thursday, Wednesday's route will be done Friday, and Thursdays route will be done Saturday.
Carolina Southern Sanitation services will not be affected by the holidays.
