The Goldsboro Police department is asking for help from the community to locate a missing person.

Ivory Terrell Yelverton, 27, left for work Thursday morning around 5 a.m., according to a Goldsboro Police Department press release.

He has not been seen since.

Yelverton's wife reported him missing and police began an investigation. Preliminary results of that investigation suggest Yelverton might have been in the area of the Walmart on North Spence Avenue during the morning hours of Dec. 19 and 20.

Yelverton is described as six-feet-one-inch tall, and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen driving a black 2001 four door Ford Explorer with a registration plate that reads ZZK-7379.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Ivory Terrell Yelverton is asked to contact Investigator Dwayne Bevell with the Goldsboro Police Department at 919-580-4243, or police dispatch at 919-705-6572.
