Government offices closed Monday

Federal, state and some local government offices will be closed Nov. 12 in observance of Veterans Day.
Wayne County offices, the landfill and convenience centers will be closed Monday for the Veterans Day holiday. Wayne County Public Schools will be closed.
The post office and banks will observe the holiday, too.
Seven Springs, Goldsboro, Mount Olive and Eureka town offices will be closed.
Goldsboro sanitation services scheduled for Monday will be performed Wednesday.
In Mount Olive, trash pick up for Monday and Tuesday will be pushed back by one day. Monday's route will be picked up on Tuesday and Tuesday's route will be picked up on Wednesday.
Town offices will remain open in Walnut Creek, Fremont, and Pikeville.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority will operate on a holiday schedule. The bus service will run from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. The van service will operate on a regular schedule.
People requesting van service for Monday, Nov. 12 must have made their arrangments prior to Thursday afternoon. People requesting van service for Tuesday, Nov. 13 and Wednesday, Nov. 14 must call and schedule transportation no later than 2:30 p.m. today.
