Home and Garden Expo to be held Saturday at fairgrounds

The Home Builders Association of Wayne County will hold the 2012 Home & Garden Expo from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, and from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Wayne Regional Agricultural Fairgrounds.
The expo highlights the various facets of the building industry by giving vendors an opportunity to display their products and services, as well decorating ideas and designs for inside and outside.
Tina Boyette, accompanied by pianist Thomas Vick, will entertain at 10 a.m. on Saturday, and Jimmy Martin's group "Encore" at 2 p.m. Saturday. Then, at 2 p.m. Sunday, Elvis impersonator Alvin Smith will perform.
There also will be door prizes and more. Pat & Mac's Grilling Shack will have food and drinks available. Emmaus Church will have homemade chili and the Tate's will be doing facepainting for the kids.
