Fall semester enrollment at Wayne Community College held steady, and now officials are preparing for the spring session, announcing several opportunities to register over the next three months.

College officials announced this week that the curriculum student headcount, after Fall II registration, is 3,961. The number is up from last year's final tally for the fall, when there were 3,692 students registered, but down from 2010, when the college boasted its highest headcount on record, with 4,005.

Registration dates for the next session will be held Nov. 6-16, from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m., for active duty on-base personnel.

Times for registration on the main campus in Goldsboro will take place Nov. 9, 8 a.m. until noon, Nov. 12 from 1-7 p.m., Nov. 13-15 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Nov. 16 from 8 a.m. until noon, as well as Dec. 7 from 8 a.m. until noon.

Tuition payment for November and December registrations are due by Dec. 17 at 4 p.m.

There are also three options to sign up for classes in January, starting with Jan. 3 from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. and Jan. 4 from 8 a.m. until noon on the main campus. Registration for visiting students on base will take place Jan. 3 and 4 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.

Tuition payment for January registrations are due by Jan. 4 at noon. Curriculum full-term and Spring I classes begin on Jan. 7.
