Goldsboro police arrested two teenagers Monday in connection with the murder of Kevin Bell, a 34-year-old who was shot to death June 14 in front of his Slaughter Street home.
Stephon Deandre Jennings, 18, of 621 Isler St., and Javonta Marquez Ellis, 16, of 402 S. William St., are being held without bond in the Wayne County Jail, each on an open count of murder.
Investigator Karen Zwirblia obtained warrants for their arrest, and police executed those warrants less than 10 minutes apart just before 2 p.m.
Jennings was apprehended along the 200 block of South William Street and Ellis was taken into custody at his home.
