Warrants issued in Sunday shooting

Goldsboro police said this morning that they have issued arrest warrants for two men in connection to a shooting Sunday afternoon.
The warrants are for Braddock Bernard Gross III, a black, 20-year-old man with a last known address of 1218 Franklin St., and Billy Renaldo Hamm Jr., a black, 19-year-old man with a last known address of 1212 E. Elm St.
They are wanted in connection to shooting of Antonio Lamont Deans, of 511 N. Kornegay St., at the intersection of Poplar Street and Westview Court. Deans was a passenger in a vehicle when he was shot. He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital and then air-lifted ot Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
Both Gross and Hamm are charged with four counts of attempted first-degree murder, two counts of discharging a weapon into an occupied conveyance in operation and one count of discharging a weapon into occupied property causing serious bodily injury.
