Man charged for stalking 60-year-old woman
Don Hudson, 47, of 1502 Scotty Drive, was arrested at his home by Goldsboro police on Saturday afternoon and placed under a $5,000 bond.
He was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, stalking and communicating threats.
Viki Underwood, 60, reported to police Saturday that Hudson was an acquaintance who tried to initiate a physical relationship between the two, according to the police report, and when she declined his advances he became aggressive toward her.
The report continues that Hudson followed her to her place of employment on Berkeley Boulevard, her relatives' homes and other places.
On Dec. 28, according to the report, Hudson called Ms. Underwood and stated, "I'm gonna unload this gun into your car, and I will kill him also if I have to."
The police report states that on Friday afternoon, Hudson came to Ms. Underwood's work and tried to hit her, and two other people, with his car in the parking lot. At this time, Hudson threatened to shoot Ms. Underwood and one of the people and another person, according to the report.
Ms. Underwood told police Hudson's behavior toward her has been taking place for a long time.
Dog bites woman in park
A man was cited for not having his pit bull on a leash after the dog allegedly attacked another dog and bit a 54-year-old woman in Waynesborough Park on Sunday.
Sue Wade reported to Goldsboro police that she and Cynthia Whitfield were walking Ms. Whitfield's dog in the park when the pit bull came running past them and attacked the dog.
Ms. Whitfield started kicking the pit bull in an attempt to make the dog stop, and when she reached down to separate the animals, she was bitten on the left hand by the pit bull, according to the report.
Ms. Whitfield started screaming for help, at which time, the owner of the pit bull, Steven Bou, who was sitting on a nearby bench reading a book, ran over and put his dog on a leash.
Ms. Whitifield refused to go the hospital with EMS, stating that she wanted to get her dog to a veterinarian in Wilson before seeking treatment for herself.
