Golden LEAF to hold grant forum Jan. 10

The public is invited to attend a community forum hosted by the Golden LEAF Foundation on Tuesday, Jan. 10, at 5:30 p.m. at Wayne Community College, 3000 Wayne Memorial Drive in the Walnut Building, Room 101.
The purpose of the forum is to discuss the Golden LEAF Foundation's Community Assistance Initiative. The Community Assistance Initiative is a grantsmaking process targeting economically distressed counties across North Carolina and is currently being launched in Wayne County. This is an informational session to review the Community Assistance Initiative and process. The agenda will include a description of the Initiative and time for questions and answers.
