Secretary of Defense coming to SJAFB Friday

Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is expected to address hundreds of locally stationed airmen Friday at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base, 4th Fighter Wing officials confirmed just moments ago.
But the soon-to-be-retired official won't simply thank those who have recently returned from deployments and those who will soon begin tours in Afghanistan and beyond.
Gates is also expected to award, among other honors and decorations, a Bronze Star.
