Police seek shooting suspect

Everette Tramain McNair, 34, of Wilmington Avenue, was reported by Goldsboro police as being shot while standing in the doorway of Manhattan Deli and Grocery at 901 S. Slocumb St. around 2:40 p.m. Wednesday.

McNair was shot several times in the arms and legs, according to the report.

Goldsboro police are asking anyone who may have any information on the suspect or incident to call Crimestoppers at 735-2255 or officer J.R. Anderson at 580-4273.

Four-wheeler stolen, found next door

An unknown subject(s) removed a Can-Am 450 four wheeler from Performance East in the 1300 block of West Grantham Street between 1 a.m. and 4:37 a.m. Sunday.

The subject(s) removed the $8,000 vehicle by cutting through a fence. The subject(s) did not make it too far, though, as the stolen property was found at the adjacent Deacon Jones Nissan.

The recreational machine was recovered and returned to the owners without damage, according to a police report, but property owners are left to mend fence, which had a listed damage of $300.
