Thefts
*Ann Matzger, 33, of Country View Drive, told Goldsboro police she left her pocketbook in a shopping cart at Walmart and when she returned, several items had been taken. Among them, she was missing $378 in cash, a credit card and 14-karat gold ring worth $100.
*A Claiborne Street man, Jay Harrington Reeves, 27, reported to Goldsboro police the theft of three money orders worth $360 from his residence on Friday.
*Taher Fadel of the Ash Street Comco reported to Goldsboro police a fan motor was taken from an HVAC unit on Thursday.
Car damaged
*Rebecca Barrett, 38, of Harrell Street, said while parked on the 400 block of Seymour Drive, her vehicle received $1,500 worth of damage from an unknown source.
Car shot
*Around 12:18 a.m. Saturday, an unknown subject shot at a vehicle while Equan Jerell Bowden, 19, W. Hooks River Road, was stopped at a stop sign, causing $1,000 worth of damage.
Bus damaged
*Patricia Mitchell, a Wayne County Public Schools bus driver, said while traveling on the 200 block of Pearson Street, she heard a loud noise and discovered a small crack in a passenger side window. No occupants were on the bus at the time. Damage was estimated at $150.
