Mackenzie Whitley, 6, left, smiles and laughs with her friend Seth Paruscia, 2, as they ride the Kiwanis Train in Herman Park. The train has operated in the park since June 13, 1955, and funds raised through ticket and concession sales help support local charities. The train raises $600 to $1,200 a weekend and will be making a special run on Labor Day. All funds collected that day will be donated to the Goldsboro High School Key Club.
