MOUNT OLIVE -- Ramil Marque Council, 17, is being sought by Mount Olive police in connection with a shooting and robbery that occurred Aug. 28.
Council, who is known to frequent the Dudley and Mount Olive areas, should be considered armed and dangerous.
His last known addresses were 119 Cleveland Drive in Mount Olive and 102 Augusta Drive in Dudley.

Council allegedly shot Christopher Wayne Powell, 17, of N.C. 55 East, in the abdomen during the robbery.

Council and Powell were riding in the back seat of a car at the time of the shooting. Also in the car were Mary Foy, 18, of N.C. 55 East, and Angela Wiggins, 29, of Davis Street.
The women told police that after shopping at the D and H Mart on South Center Street, a male got into the back seat of the car with Powell to ride with them. Ms. Foy said that after driving for a short distance on Pollock Street, between Center and Church streets, she heard a "pop" and Powell said he had been shot.
Council then allegedly robbed all three victims at gunpoint, jumped out of the car and fled on foot toward the D and H Mart.
Police responded around 8:54 p.m. to a call that a man had been shot. When officers arrived at the rescue building on Northwest Center Street they found Ms. Foy and Ms. Wiggins. Powell sitting in the back seat of the vehicle.
Powell was treated by EMS and then transported to the hospital.
