The North Carolina Community Federal Credit Union, in collaboration with other credit unions in North and South Carolina, is working to raise funds to benefit Hope for Warriors, a grassroots non-profit organization that provides support to military members recovering from serious combat injuries.

To mark the end of the $100,000 fundraising campaign, a group of credit union bicyclists, part of a larger cycling team dubbed Team Little Guy, will ride approximately 200 miles beginning Thursday from Fort Bragg and Pope Air Base to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base on day one, to Cherry Point Marine Corps Air Station on day two, to Camp Lejeune on day three, ending Saturday at the headquarters of Marine Federal Credit Union in Jacksonville.

The riders will stop in Goldsboro at the N.C. Community Federal Credit Union's main branch on Ash Street at about 3:30 p.m. where local donations will be presented to the team.

People interested in donating to Hope for Warriors can do so at the credit unions on Ash Street and on base.
