Man killed in bike accident

A story in Friday's News-Argus incorrectly identified the victim of an accident on 11th Street as a physician.
Thomas Allen Mangum, 34, was struck from behind by a vehicle while he was riding his bicycle about 7:30 p.m. Thursday. He was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital, then to Pitt Memorial, where he died.
The story mistakenly referred to him as Dr. Thomas Mangum.
Goldsboro police said Mangum was struck by a vehicle driven by James Bunn, 72, of Brogden St. Police were still investigating the accident today.
