Investigations

Goldsboro police are investigating these reports:

*On the 100 block of Rockefeller Court, Kenya Langston, 30, reported a break-in through an unsecured rear window and the theft of a Playstation 3 worth $00 and three games worth $100.

*Kemoka Latrice Harris, Mimosa Park, reported multiple scratches on the hood of her vehicle and a passenger window was shattered. The incident reportedly occurred Thursday night while the car was parked at Wal-Mart on N. Spence Avenue.

*Floyd Andrews, representing loss prevention at Belk, told police a white 56-year-old male concealed a $160 pair of brown men's shoes and $38 worth of underwear and left the store without paying for it.

*Latesha Thompson, 24, Boxwood Lane, reported the theft of a Nintendo Wii and assorted games, plus $200 in cash.

School damaged

A sheet of plexiglass at Eastern Wayne High School was destroyed after an unknown subject threw a brick at it sometime late last week, according to a Wayne County Sheriff's Office report. Principal Gene Byrd filed the report with Rex Hatch, the school's resource officer, after being notified of the damage, according to the report. The sheet of plexiglass, used as a window in a gymnasium door, would have to be replaced at a cost of about $100, according to the report.

Shot in leg

Isaiah Martin, 16, of South Slocumb Street was found lying on the ground in front of 412 Beale Street, with a gunshot wound to the leg, authorities said. Martin told police he was walking on Beale Street when a suspect on a bicycle approached him and shot him, according to a police report. The suspect is described as a black male with short "dreadlock"-style hair, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, authorities said.
