SMITHFIELD -- Smithfield has a Military Family Assistance Center at 406 Hospital Road.
Family Assistance Centers assist service members and their families with benefits and services they are eligible for such as counseling, tax preparation, financial planning and free or low cost child and youth programs.
Family Assistance Centers are a part of the North Carolina National Guard. They are designed to help support service members of the Guard, Reserve Active Duty and their families with benefits and services they are eligible to receive.
