DMV supervisor charged with stolen goods in Duplin

Bill Toman, 51, of 1769 Seabrook School Road, Fayetteville, who is district supervisor for the state Division of Motor Vehicles Bureau of License and Theft Fayetteville District Office, was arrested on Friday, in Duplin County by the SBI for felony possession of stolen goods, obstruction of justice and misuse of confidential information.
The arrest was made after a joint investigation by the SBI, the FBI and the state Division of Motor Vehicles. His first appearance in Duplin District Court is on Monday.
