Beer stolen
Two cases of Icehouse beer valued at about $25 were taken from the back of a Coastal Beverage truck in the 500 block of East Elm Street, Goldsboro police said. Driver Eric Edwards said he had parked the truck at a fuel station to unload a shipment. A passer-by called police and said "several" unknown black men opened the truck and took the beer, then headed toward Devereaux Street, according to the report.
