Two Goldsboro men arrested on drug charges in Lenoir County

An investigation in an area of Lenoir County called "Little Baltimore" turned up 50 "esctasy" pills and marijuana, Lenoir County Sheriff's Office officials said.
Two people were arrested on Monday in Lenoir County after selling MDMA, short for methylenedioxymethamphetamine, a street drug known as "ecstasy."
Both of the suspects are from Goldsboro, Javon Thomas Young, 26, of Isler Street, and and Anthony Dewayne Jackson, 25, of South Leslie Avenue.
The "Little Baltimore" area is just over the Wayne and Lenoir county line.
Lenoir County Sheriff's Office Capt. James Oldenburg said the arrests began as an undercover investigation of Jackson, who is known by the name "Ant."
Both were taken into custody after they sold 50 ecstasy pills to undercover officers, the captain said.
They also sold the officers about 30 grams of marijuana, a little over an ounce, Oldenburg said.
Jackson faced the more serious charges of the two men, and was jailed under $15,000 bond.
Jackson's charges included on count of selling ecstasy, one count of possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule I drug, and possess with intent to sell and deliver marijuana.
Young was jailed uner a $10,000 bond and was charged with one count of selling ecstasy and one count of possession with intent to sell or deliver marijuana, Oldenburg said.
