Business women scholarships available

The Wayne Duplin Business and Professional Organization will offer three $500 scholarships to worthy women fro the academic year 2009-2010.
Interested applicants may request an application from Barbara Kornegay, scholarship chair, by emailing bkornegay@nc.rr.com or by calling( 91) 658-9331 and leaving their name, address and phone number.
Priority will be given to women who are returning to college to upgrade their careers; however, women who are currently college students and young women who are about to graduate from high school are also invited to apply.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate financial need, good character and a definite plan for a career. Deadline for all completed applications is March 1.
