Nurse Aide registration at WCC

Registration for Wayne Community College Continuing Education's spring Nurse Aide I courses will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 6, starting at 8:30 a.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building.
This course prepares students for the competency evaluation required for listing as a Certified Nurse Aide with the N.C. Division of Facility Services. Seats are limited for both the morning and evening sections of the course, which begin in January. Registration fee is $66.30.
A reading assessment is now required before students can register for the Nurse Aide I course. Contact the WCC Admissions Office or Counseling Services at 735-5151 to schedule the "Compass" test.
Also, during the spring semester, Nurse Aide I state exam preparation course, Nurse Aide II and a nurse refresher course will be offered. Students can register and pay the fees for these classes at any time in the Continuing Education Department in the Walnut Building.
