WCC nurses' aide course registration starts soon

Registration for Wayne Community College Continuing Education's fall Nurse Aide I courses will be held on Tuesday, July 10, starting at 8:30 a.m. in Room 101 of the Walnut Building. One morning and two evening sections of the course will begin in mid-August.
Limited seating is available for the course, which prepares students for the competency evaluation required for listing as a Certified Nurse Aide with the N.C. Division of Facility Services. Registration fee is $66.30.
Before registering, a reading assessment is now required. Students are requested to schedule the "Compass" test in advance.
The Nurse Aide I state exam preparation course runs for five weeks. There is also a three-week refresher course as well as one morning and one evening Nurse Aide II courses. Registration for any of these will be held July 30-Aug. 3 during the general registration period.
