Pesticide Disposal Day Tuesday at Cherry Farms

Any pesticide, including insecticides, fungicides and herbicides, can be disposed of Tuesday at Cherry Farms as part of Pesticide Disposal Day.
The North Carolina Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and Wayne County Cooperative Extension are sponsoring the event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Cherry Farms' Center for Environmental Farming Systems, which is located at 201 Stevens Mill Road.
All pesticides planned for disposal must be in their original containers and be clearly labeled. There is no charge for disposing pesticides.
