Walk for Hunger March 25

The 24th Annual Walk for Hunger will be held Sunday, March 25 at 1:30 p.m., starting at Herman Park.
The event is sponsored by United Church Ministries to raise money to help the needy. Help is distributed during emergencies, not on a long-term basis.
Registration begins at 1 p.m. near the gazebo in the park. Walkers who register and help raise money for the cause will receive a T-shirt at the end of the walk.
There will be two rest stops along the route.
If it rains on March 25, the walk will be held April 1.
United Church Ministries helps more than 2,300 people annually. The organization is supported by contributions from churches, civic organizations, individuals and the annual walk.
