Southern Wayne water flushing

The Southern Wayne Sanitary District will be flushing hydrants March 21-23 and March 26-30, between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
During this time, customers might notice a slight discoloration of their water due to the iron particles stirred up in the water lines, but it should clear up shortly.
Water system officials are discouraging customers from washing white clothes during the hours that flushing will take place.
