MOUNT OLIVE -- The Mount Olive College Department of Fine Arts is currently hosting its first annual Senior Art Exhibition in the Teresa Pelt Grubbs Art Gallery in Laughinghouse Hall. The event is free and open to the public.
"This is a showcase of some of the best talent we've had at MOC," said Cheryl Hooks, chair of the Department of Art and Visual Communications and associate professor of fine arts.
The college's biggest student exhibition to date will include site specific wall paintings, sculptures, photography, painting and graphic design.
The exhibit will run through March 29. That evening, a closing reception will be held from 5 until 8 p.m. The gallery is open weekdays from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. and by special appointment. For more information, please contact Ms. Hooks at 658-2502.
