James Sprunt medications class to be held

The Continuing Education Department at James Sprunt Community College will be offering a Medication Technician course.
This course is designed to prepare the unlicensed medical person in adult care homes, assisted living facilities and group homes to administer medications. The course will be offered Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, beginning March 26, from 8:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m. for a total of four weeks.
Students that successfully pass this course will be eligible to take the North Carolina medication exam. Classes will meet in the Boyette building room 219. Registered nurse Tammy Sessoms will be the instructor for this course.
Students may pre-register by calling Sheraldine Harper at 296-2466. Students will be required to pay a registration fee at the first class and purchase required materials.
