Investigation
Detective Sgt. Rick Farfour recovered a 1999 Bobcat loader, valued at $14,500, within minutes after it was reported stolen on Nov. 9 from a Wilson resident. Thomas Woodrow Rice Sr., 48, of Mobile Circle, Dudley, was charged with felony possession of stolen property. Bond was set at $25,000.
Accident
A Nashville, Tenn. woman was injured Monday afternoon in a four-car accident on Wayne Memorial Drive. Tania Annette Staps, 34, was taken to Wayne Memorial Hospital for treatment. Renee James Hinson, 50, of Hood Drive, was charged with failure to reduce speed.
