Group set for next jam downtown

Barefoot Manner, a five-piece musical group, will be featured at this week's Downtown Jam held by the the Downtown Goldsboro Development Corp.
The show will be held Thursday in the parking lot behind the Waynesborough House off Center Street. Shows in the biweekly concert series start at 5:30 p.m. and end at 8:30 p.m.
The performance is being sponsored by Billie's Restaurant. Barefoot Manner performs a blend of bluegrass instrumentation in a genre-free world where each live show is a new experience for both the band and its fans.
Residents are urged to bring their children, lawn chairs and their dancing feet. A variety of foods and beverages will be available.
The next Downtown Jam will feature the Craig Woolard Band.
